Man and Usher Duties
The best man helps put on the "bachelor party" and
organizes the purchase of a gift for the groom with money collected
from the ushers. Helps the bride in organizing the transportation
for the bridal party. Helps pack and keeps the couple's luggage
safe before their Honeymoon. He keeps all Honeymoon plans secret.
And most importantly, cares for the bride's ring until the groom
is ready to place it on his bride's finger. The
Ushers assist in seating all guests. Therefore it is important
to have enough Ushers for the number of guests you plan on
attending. Roughly one Usher for every 30-40 guests is required
to seat the ceremony. Remember that the bride's friends and
family are seated on the left side and the grooms on the right.
If the seating is uneven, the Ushers can place these guests
in open seats. The Usher escorts female guests by lending
