This was the Libyan flag during the Ottoman Empire occupation to Libya, before the Italians occupied Libya
   
On October 25, 1919 the Italians granted Idris Al Senoussi as Emir , but with authority only on the regions of Koufrah, Jarabouh, Audjila and Jalo, with Ajedabia as the capital. The text of the treaty states that the Emir was allowed to hoist his flag along with the Italian one. The Italians abandoned the treaty in 1920
